Most ADUs in the Portland area take 5–8 months from permit to move-in. Bigger units or tricky lots can take a bit longer.
How long does a full new home take?
Most new homes take 10–14 months from permit to move-in. Size, complexity, and city review times all matter.
Can I build an ADU on my lot?
Most Portland and Gresham lots allow ADUs. We'll do a free feasibility check before you commit to plans.
How much does an ADU cost?
Portland-area ADUs typically run $200,000 to $400,000 depending on size and finishes. We give a clear, fixed quote — not a guess.
